Edinburgh WTF
Just a random update. We recently ran a free HH promotion for all our players which has gone down pretty well.
The site is getting upgraded again to accomadate more offers and just generally becoming a bit more slick and streamlined.
There are also going to be youtube video walkthrough guides for every offer. These will be pretty generic at first but, will show people how to sign up, confirm they’re tracked, cash in their VIP points and take advantage of everything the site has to offer. Nobody does this at the moment so its another USP and is going to make things a lot easier.
The live chat on the site has also been a big success. There is someone on it pretty much 24/7 and the people on it actually will know about poker and not just be front line service staff. I think once players get on board with ipokervip they know we’re pretty good and stay.
Anyway, the point of this post is the talent that is the Edinburgh poker scene – its pretty crazy. A lot of people I know / knew pretty well are crushing stuff in quite a big way – GLPMurray on Stars who I went to school with, David Vamplew who won the EPT ME for £900k and a few others who have won £30k or so in live MTT’s recently.
I just thought it was kind of odd and reall kewl that such a small city and social network has so much poker talent coming out of it right now.
